Share your next outdoor adventure with a shelter dog! These dogs would love to take a break from the indoors and go on a hike with you! This program will help the dogs socialize, learn new activities, and expose their personalities. It’ll also be an exciting way for you to get outside and explore the beauty of the Lake George Regional Park Trail System. Who knows…you may fall in love and decide to expand your family!

If you or your group would like a shelter dog to walk, please respond as “Going” on the Facebook event or send an email to hayden@mainstreetskowhegan.org. We ask that you please leave your pets at home; we have programs specifically for people to bring their own dogs called “Doggie Day Out.” Meet us at the last parking lot on the East Side.

This is a free community event of the Skowhegan AmeriCorps Outdoor Recreation Program (SAORP) of Main Street Skowhegan in collaboration with HSWA.
