“What’s That Tree?” Maine Tree ID

March 25, 2020 @ 2:45 pm - 4:15 pm

Free

Are you curious about the naturally rooted structures that surround you? Would you like to expand your knowledge about the giants of nature? Would you just like to get outside? Come spend your afternoon with Kate Drummond, a science teacher and Maine Master Naturalist, to learn how to identify tree species based on characteristics such as leaves, bark, needles, branches, and fruit.

This interactive clinic is perfect for all ages and abilities. Meet us in the lobby of the Skowhegan Area High School (SAHS). If you need to borrow snowshoes, fill out this form: https://forms.gle/Eq3y8rM4LnEFzLhHA

This is a free community event of the Skowhegan AmeriCorps Outdoor Recreation Program (SAORP) of Main Street Skowhegan.
